2016 Summer Exhibitions

greek, dancing, vassilitsi, villageGROUP EXHIBITION – VASSILITSI I’m honoured to have been invited to join the annual Summer Art Exhibition in Vassilitsi this year. This lovely local event takes place at the school on the hill, on the evening of Friday 29th July and continues during the Vassilitsi Summer Panagiri the following evening – Saturday 30th July. Visit on the Friday evening to see the Art Exhibition and check-out their lovely little folk museum at the same time. Or come on Saturday night for the Art….the Museum…. and the Panagiri! There will be Greek dancing in costume on the Saturday night, as well as cold drinks and food available…. followed by Greek music and dancing till late of course. (no dancing on the Friday – just the Art Exhibition)

The venue is Ninette’s place ‘Antiques at the Harbour’ which will be home to some of my most recent artwork for that time. You will find the exhibition in the Dance Studio, adjacent to the shop – open during her shop opening hours. On display will be a variety of new original art including the ‘Postcards from Greece’ range plus some lovely new stretched canvas reproductions. Opening night is Saturday 6th August from 7pm so do drop by for a glass of wine if you are in the area. If you can’t make the opening night, pop in to say hello and check-out the art when you are next in Koroni. If you’re not in Greece – keep an eye on the website as I will gradually be adding the new originals and prints in due course.
