Chrani-Vigla-Kakorevma-Kafu Walk

The sky was heavy with rain but the forecast was favourable on Saturday morning….

so the proposed Chrani-Kafu walk went ahead…..

Starting off with an uphill climb, we rested a while at Vigla…

before continuing on towards Kakorevma….

The sun came out as we walked…..

Spotted my first poppies of the year…..

An early lunch-break at Kakorevma church….

A day of fabulous Spring flowers and vivid, green fields….

Eventually arriving at Kafu (after a slight detour through an olive grove!)

The lovely track back  to Episkopi…..

Surprisingly lovely walking weather today, after a misty-rainy start. A bit of a hilly walk – to avoid the muddy tracks. Averaging 3.5kph, we walked just over 13 kilometres. Well done ladies – thank you for accompanying me.
