Cushions – NEW for Summer 2018!

We chose to print the back each cushion with a simple hand-painted texture design, and have co-ordinated the colours of each back with the design on the front. Where cushions are ‘paired’ we have used the same colours on the back of each. The reverse of each cushion also carries my signature.

These soft and satiny cushions are a cosy way to bring a little Greece-inspired art into your home. One or two of these brightly coloured works of art make a real statement on a sofa, amidst a pile of plain colours. As well as being very eye-catching, and beautifully evocative of Greece, they are a distinctive conversation piece!

We launched our cushion collection with six designs which we think work particularly well on soft furnishings – four florals and two village scenes. The designs do stand alone but can also be paired up, should you want one at either end of your sofa. As time goes by we will gradually be expanding the range.

Cushions measure 18″x18” (47cmx47cm) and come either with or without a pad – whichever you prefer. Made from a smooth polyester fabric, with a fleece backing, which I suspect adds to the snuggle-factor. This fabric gives really good print detail and produces colours which are satisfyingly true to the original artwork. They have a zipper opening and are machine washable. Like our tote bags, they are printed, cut and individually sewn to order. They’re then packed and shipped from one of our two professional printing partners – either in Europe or in the States – depending on your shipping address.

Some of the original paintings used are still available to purchase on the Originals page HERE.]

Beautiful Scenery combines sketches from Koroni, a seaside village in the south Peloponnese, with Greek text and lines from a vintage postcard. We’ve paired it with Three Boat Collage – an interesting, mixed media collage painting of Koroni harbour.

By the Wall pairs very nicely with Geranium in a Blue Pot as they’re part of the same Cycladic Collage series.

The Red Bowl – one of my favourite cut flower collage paintings, pairs beautifully with Holiday flowers.

Into the Blue – fun and distinctive seascape design, featuring strong blues and white… with just a dash of bright red!
