Originals – I will personally wrap and pack all original art myself and take great care to ensure it arrives safely and in perfect condition.
Prints – Paper, canvas and stretched giclée reproductions are professionally packed and sent direct from our trusty printers. Paper Prints and rolled canvas prints are packed with tissue paper – rolled and sent to you in a sturdy cardboard tube. All stretched canvas prints are wrapped in a protective sleeve with individual plastic or cardboard guards added to each corner. Additional cardboard is secured over the print surface to minimise the risk of breakages or transit damage. Each print is then shipped in a heavy duty cardboard box.
Originals – Original Artwork will be posted from Greece or from the United Kingdom. I endeavour to pack and post all original artwork within 5 working days of order and will notify you if I am unable to do so. I will email you when it has been dispatched. Packages will be sent by Greek Tracked Mail, or UK Royal Mail Recorded, which will require a signature on arrival. Shipments take approximately 5-7 business days within Europe and 7-20 days to the United States.
Print & Canvases – All prints are made to order, and sent direct from our professional printers, either in the UK or the US. Please allow up to 14 days delivery in the UK and US. For Europe and rest of world allow 21 days. All orders are dispatched using either courier or recorded mail and have tracking.
Postage – If you are buying more than one item at the same time, you only pay postage for one item – whichever item incurs the highest postal cost. For example, if buying 2 originals at the same time as a stretched canvas: you will only pay postage on the stretched canvas.
I am not responsible for any customs fees or duty that may be incurred during shipping or hold-ups due to customs control.
I sincerely hope that you will be more than delighted with your new artwork and that it will find a special place in your heart and home. In the unlikely event of your purchase arriving damaged, I will of course arrange to repair or replace the piece. If, for some reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, I will work with you to ensure a positive outcome. In either case, please ensure you contact me by email immediately.
Should you wish to return an item for any reason other than damage in transit, it must be returned in its original condition within 7 days of receipt. Please send the return package with insurance, so that we are both covered in case of loss. You will be responsible for the return shipping cost. As soon as I receive the package, I will then happily refund the full cost of your purchase, minus my initial shipping cost.
Original Paintings – All my original acrylic paintings are created with artists quality acrylics. If on paper, it will be 300 gsm acid free watercolour paper or similar. Some work is created on art board and some on cotton canvas. See individual listings for details.
Collage & Mixed Media Paintings – My original collage & mixed media pieces are likewise created with artists quality paints. Where ‘found papers’ are used in a piece, they are incorporated with liberal amounts of artists’ quality matte medium. The completed collage/mixed media painting is also given a fine coat of medium followed by a coat of clear UV varnish.
Fine Art Giclée Prints and Canvases – I work closely with a lovely UK based professional Fine Art printer who use 12-colour, pigment based, archival quality inks that are guaranteed to last a lifetime. Paper prints are on textured, 315gsm archival paper. Canvases are on 400gsm 100% cotton and coated with a matt, transparent coating for added protection. Stretched canvases are hand finished on professional artist stretcher bars of the finest quality European kiln-dried knotless pine. See individual listings for more information.
All original artwork is signed by me either on the front or the back. The placement of the signature depends on the piece, but I mostly sign and title originals on the back.
Please be aware that all computer screens show colours differently, so the colours you see on your particular screen may vary slightly from those used in the actual piece.
Always keep your paintings or prints away from strong, direct sunlight, as this could alter the colours over time. Choose a UV protection glass when framing your piece.
Please note that the sale of artwork does not transfer copyright. The artist retains all copyright privileges and protections. That means you own the actual artwork but not the copyrighted image. Artwork may not be cut and pasted, published, copied, or reproduced in any way, without the written permission of the artist.
Please contact me if you are interested in licensing any of my images.
If you are happy with your new painting, print or canvas I would love to hear from you. Likewise, if there are any issues, do please let me know. I also really love to receive photos of my art hanging in it’s new home, so feel free to email me some.
