Sketching in Vassilitsi

The fabulous weather conditions on 9th January were perfect for outdoor art, so a small group of us headed off to one of my favourite on location venues – Vassilitsi…

An extended spot of meditative, wrong handed drawing…..

followed by some blind contour drawing…..

helped us get in the mood for some rather more serious sketching!

Must say I thoroughly enjoyed doing my first village-house-drawing of the year…. I was attracted to this colourful, metal door, and the pinky-red, plastic sheet roofing stuck over the doorway at a rather jaunty angle.

  1. But you said Gill . . . . . ! But well done for recording the event and for making some rather lovely drawings.
