The Last ‘On Location’ of 2013

A slightly diminished On Location Group enjoyed the final sketching session of 2013 today in lovely Logga…

We had it all….bright blue skies….sun….open kafeneons….friendly locals…hot (well, almost) chocolate….and (later on) cold beers….

Our presence caused some interest, as we were stationed mosly around the main shopping street…where we variously met several old aquaintances…. and made some new ones….

A quick sketch of Logga Church was required after an elderly gentleman kindly escorted us to the plastic seats in front of it….Whilst drawing here, another lady produced fresh mint & oranges and showed us an icon painted by her daughter….

The owner of the supermarket in my sketch plied me with fruit juice and showed me the fabulous mountain views from the rear windows….

All in all, a very pleasant end to the on loco year.

Many thanks to all the enthusiastic sketchers who have joined me this year, for your support, and your committment to your own artistic pursuits.

  1. Thank you Gill for being the catalyst for my modest artistic development through this past year. Without your encouragement I doubt that much of it would have happened.
