My studio in Greece was originally a separate kitchen/storeroom for our village house. It’s a small room of traditional mud-brick construction, which opens onto a shaded walled garden planted with citrus trees and geraniums. Seated at the desk in the summer, my view takes in the old potters house, olive branches and the traditional style tiled roofs of nearby houses. The recent addition of an outside sink and tabletops extends the available workspace in the summer months.
